Written Word (Inversionmeter)
Written word
is a promise come true,
emotions soak lifeless thread.
Say, does it really matter
whether the page is full
or empty?
A blank page
is a solemn promise
to limn worlds with fantasy.
Say, does it really matter
whether the page is full
or empty?

Woven Words (Palindrome)
I can, or
rather I must,
change their mind,
or else changed I am.
Haunting yet not quite magical,
love's woven
in small portions
drips from tears-wet walls.
Woven too
are words of wisdoms,
thus folly of man is
never occuring again
~ and ~
never occuring again
is man of folly thus.
Wisdoms of words are
woven too.
Walls wet tears from drips;
portions small in
woven loves.
Magical? Quite not, yet haunting.
Am I changed else or
mind their change;
must I rather
or, can I?
you
and me
we make two
and we will be
three with the swell of your growing tummy.
I listen to the thump-thump of your heart,
I hear it beat
the gift of
of our
love.
thump
and then
thump thump thump,
then you awake from our baby kicking.
needless to know if it is male or not;
just be alive-
I'll be a
happy
man.

Haiku / Quinzaine (Inversionmeter)
A haiku
draws a concrete image
by using the shortest means.
Show visions or ask questions,
what poetry needs rhymes
or metre?
A quinzaine
asks us shortest questions;
the answers though are longer.
Show visions or ask questions,
what poetry needs rhymes
or metre?

Wishful Thinking (Inversionmeter)
Skies overflow
with the tears of all fools
who send their thoughts to heaven.
Would they know it is no use,
they would never look up -
always down.
The streets drown
in the tears that fall down
from the yearnings of all fools.
Would they know it is no use,
they would never look up -
always down.

Live Today (Inversionmeter)
Tommorow
is just another way
to avoid a work-filled day.
Lest it becomes routine,
count from one to three and
live today.
Yesterday
has sent its best wishes;
work undone is with them, too.
Lest it becomes routine,
count from one to three and
live today.

Growing Up (Inversionmeter)
We start small
but soon we grow quite tall;
pride too grows with ev'ry inch.
With every single inch
our loved parents' prayers
fade away.
Dwindling down,
they meet us half the way,
until we talk face to face.
With every single inch
our loved parents' prayers
fade away
